 Các bước cài đặt mysql server 8.0 vào server AlmaLinux

Phiên bản hiện tại, 8.0.26

bước 1) Cập nhật server

sudo dnf update

bước 2) Kiểm tra danh sách module

sudo dnf module list mysql

bước 3) Enable module

sudo dnf module enable mysql:8.0

bước 4) Cài đặt

sudo dnf install @mysql

bước 5) enable and start

sudo systemctl enable mysqld

sudo systemctl start mysqld 

bước 6) Kiểm tra trạng thái

sudo systemctl status mysqld 

bước 7) thiết lập bảo mật

sudo mysql_secure_installation

bước 8) kết nối mysql

 sudo mysql -u root -p

bước 9) kiểm tra mysql version

mysql>  SELECT VERSION ();

===> hoàn tất

After installing it by mysqld --install. Try this mysqld --initialize. We got the same problem but it's now working.

Also remember to give NETWORK SERVICE permission to the folder:

1. Right-click Data folder
2. Select Properties
3. Select Security tab
4. Click Advanced
5. Click Change Permissions...
6. Click Add...
7. Type NETWORK SERVICE
8. Click Check Names
9. Click OK
10. Select Full Control
11. Click OK – four times
12. Start MySQL service

có thể cấu hình lại file config của mysql như sau:

innodb_log_file_size=512M;
 innodb_strict_mode=0;

thêm: SET GLOBAL max_allowed_packet=134217728;

restart mysql và kiểm tra lại:
SELECT @@max_allowed_packet;
SELECT @@innodb_log_file_size;
SELECT @@innodb_strict_mode;
